JUST SOUL FOOD

I was born in 1958 on the east coast and lived there just long enough to arrive on the planet. Our family traveled overseas and back to the United States in 1963. We settled in the Washington D.C. area in 1965 and in 1991 I began traveling again. I was fortunate enough to be raised by loving parents and they separated in 1973. I was raised in a traditionally Baptist church for almost 22 years and have attended different types of churches mostly non-denominational.

I began studying the scriptures and spirituality early in life and spent several years serving as a Sunday school teacher, junior deacon, choir member and a coach in various sports. During those developmental years, I was blessed with teachers who stressed the importance of history and developing an open perspective on life and the world around us. I graduated from NOVA Community College and later Radford University in 1981, and have traveled Europe and the States working several years in the computer and brokerage industry. During this period of time I continued reading and meditating, and have spoken with and/or witnessed to different people from different background regarding our outlook on God and love. Having experienced the blessing of being at peace with our loving Father has been an ever-present, guiding force in my life. And I've seen the benefits of God's love in the lives of others as well. I hope these books encourage and strengthen your faith and resolve to find and rest in the peace of his love.
